Five Things with Arrae Co-Founder, Siffat Haider

One of my favorite types of content to read is quick snackable Q&As – think @quickklist and The Cut’s Auto-Refill. But my one complaint is that so many of the ones I love to read feature the same people who are on a PR run or pushing a product. After realizing I know some pretty fucking cool people, I decided to introduce my own take – which I’m creatively calling Five Things. Check back each Friday for a new Five Things, or read past interviews here.

Meet Siffat Haider

Siffat and I have known each other for a few years now. We originally met under the guise of PR person and influencer/podcaster (her), but she’s since added Co-Founder to her resume with her line of natural supplements, Arrae. Their Bloat capsules may be one of my favorite products of 2020 – not exaggerating.

Read on for a peek into her morning ritual and her biggest learning of 2020 in this week’s Five Things.

Her morning ritual:

Non-negotiables are journaling, bulletproof coffee, 10 minute meditation.

The one beauty product she re-purchases:

Dr. Dennis Gross Ferulic Acid + Retinol Brightening Solution.

Productivity app that has changed her life:

Slack! It’s absolutely necessary to streamline communication with my team.

Her biggest win in 2020:

Getting good at meetings! Prior to Arrae, I worked pretty independently, so I consider it a win to have gotten comfortable with the number of meetings I have daily.

Her biggest failure in 2020 and what she learned from it:

I’ve been so focused on Arrae in 2020 that I’ve not had a lot of time to spend with friends (and also, pandemic). A goal for 2021 is to make time for relationships, even if that means a Zoom catch up date!

You can find Siffat on Instagram at @icingandglitter and her line of supplements at @arrae.co and at arrae.com
